SEWANEE, Tenn. - The University of the South men's lacrosse team rolled to a 13-6 victory over Augustana College, 13-6, Tuesday night from historic Hardee-McGee Field at Harris Stadium.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Augustana got the scoring going with 11:11 left in the opening quarter, but that would be the only time Augie would lead in the game. After
Alec Jazaeri caused a turnover, Sewanee cleared the ball and
Jake Cohen netted the first goal of the game with 7:09 left in the opening period.
-After
Drew Perun won the ensuing face off, he ran down the field and scored to give the Tigers the 2-1 lead.
-The Vikings responded by winning the next face off, and with 6:17 left in the period, Brenson Brown tied it up at two goals apiece.
-With over 90 seconds left in the period,
Davis Gillenwater gave the Tigers the lead for good with his 15th of the season.
-Sewanee took a 7-4 lead into the locker room and had the 11-4 advantage after three quarters.
-Limiting Augustana to 26 shots, 12 on goal, the Tigers defense forced 15 turnovers and saw the visitors go 15-of-30 on clear attempts.

Ashton Anton.

Charlie Warren won 10-of-12 face offs with six ground balls, while
Davis Gillenwater and
Jack Selner each forced two turnovers.

Greg Ix (6-3) stopped six shots in full time.
AUGUSTANA KEY STATISTICS
-Brenson Brown and Elijah Graesser had two goals each for the Vikings.
-Erick Singdahlsen saved 11 shots in the first half.
