MARYVILLE, Tenn. - The University of the South baseball team dropped an 11-1 decision to Maryville College in non-conference action, Tuesday afternoon, from Scotland Yard.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Maryville got the scoring going in the bottom of the first with two runs in the frame and added four in the third to lead 6-0.
-Trailing by the same score in the sixth,
Blake Pou went deep for the second straight game to shatter the shutout.
-The run would not phase the home team in the Scots, as they added two runs in the bottom half of the sixth and seventh innings to secure the run-rule victory.
-Maryville is receiving votes in the latest poll by D3baseball.com and the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA).

Blake Pou launched his third home run of the season and his second in as many games on Tuesday. The sophomore finished 1-for-3 with an RBI.
