ATLANTA - The University of the South's
Gil Weston and
Talman Ramsey were selected as the Southern Athletic Association's (SAA) Men's Tennis Doubles Team, announced by the conference office on Monday.
The duo went 3-0 this past week, and the team is now 8-3 in 2023.
On Thursday, Weston/Ramsey defeated Casey Johnson/Adnan Alousi of Kalamazoo, 8-6. Later that afternoon against Covenant's top flight of Ben Onufrock/Austin Dreslinski, the team secured an 8-4 win.
Saturday in Atlanta against No. 31 Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the duo fended off Derek Shan/Kallas Kahler, 8-6.
The Tigers are back in action on Saturday against Rhodes College to resume SAA play.
