JACKSON, Miss. - The University of the South softball program saw a sixth inning rally by Millsaps College to give the Majors the series win in the finale Sunday, 4-1, from the Millsaps College Softball Complex.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-After a leadoff double by
Eve Bournias to start the rubber match, she moved over to third on a
Zoe Crockett sac bunt. Next,
Hannah Wilson got the Tigers on the board with a sacrifice fly.
-In the bottom of the first, after Millsaps' Molli Perry reached on an infield hit, she would later be gunned down by
Hannah Wilson at second base to squash an early rally by the Majors.
-Sewanee kept the 1-0 advantage until the bottom of the fifth. The Majors drove in the equalizing run on an RBI single.
-After the Tigers were retired in order in the top half of the sixth, the home team came back out quickly with momentum in their hand and scored two runs in the bottom half.
-Millsaps slammed the door in the seventh with a three-up, three-down inning to seal the victory.

Alice Charboneau went 2-for-3 at the dish.

With the road schedule in the books, Sewanee's final eight games of the regular season will take place from the friendly confines of the Domain. The University of the South will welcome Centre College for a three-game conference series, starting on Saturday at noon from the Tiger Softball Field.
