Leading 8-4 with less than three minutes remaining, after winning the face off for a third straight time, Griffin Peterson made it a 9-4 lead for the Purple and White.

-GC made it a 9-5 lead at the break, but the Tigers began to pull away in the third quarter. After each team traded goals in the first three and a half minutes of the period, Sewanee went on a 5-1 run to extend the lead to 15-8.

-The Pride were able to cut into the deficit at the end of the third stanza, 15-10, but a goal by Devon Root with 5:23 left in the game put the contest out of reach.
