BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The University of the South softball team dropped the series finale to No. 19 Birmingham-Southern College, 8-0, Sunday from the BSC Softball Park.
BSC is ranked 19th in the preseason poll administered by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA).

-The Panthers struck first in the contest with five runs in the first and added a run in the second to lead 6-0.
