SEWANEE, Tenn. – Sewanee will face Hanover College in the first round of the NCAA Women's Soccer Tournament in St. Louis, Mo., on Saturday, as announced Monday by the national office.
The Tigers will play in their third-ever NCAA Tournament and first since 2015. Sewanee first went to the NCAA Tournament in 2005. The Tigers have posted a 17-match unbeaten streak since losing the season-opener at then No. 1-ranked Johns Hopkins, outscoring its opponents this season, 38-9, with 12 shutouts.

Brianna Fee, who scored both goals in the team's 2-1 victory over Rhodes in the SAA Tournament championship game on Sunday, leads the club with 12 goals this season. Junior
Samantha Ferry has added five goals while junior
Kylene Monaghan and freshman
Katye Dullye each have three goals for the Tigers.
Senior
Maggie O'Hare paces the squad with nine assists and Monaghan has four helpers as well.
Sewanee's previous NCAA Tournament matches were played against the University of Chicago at Thomas More University in Crestview Hills, Ky., in 2015 and their first appearance, they faced Emory University at Emory in 2005.
Hanover won the Heartland Conference Tournament, 1-0, against Transylvania in double overtime on Saturday. The Panthers enter the match, 14-1-1, overall.
