HOW IT HAPPENED
-Sewanee got out to a hot start. After the Majors went 1-of-2 from the charity stripe to start the game, Sewanee went on a 14-2 run, capped by a Camryn Broussard triple with 1:44 left in the opening frame.

-The Tigers extended the lead to a 15-point advantage, 21-6, after free throws at the end of the quarter by Olivia Falvey

-At the start of the second quarter, a Faith Humphrey triple made it a 24-6 lead with 8:48 remaining before Millsaps was forced to burn a timeout.

-The Majors were held without a field goal for almost six minutes before Elyse Warren scored on a fastbreak opportunity.

-Despite the slow start, from the 4:26 mark in the period, the Majors cut the deficit back to 15 points, 34-19, at the break.

-Millsaps picked up the intensity in the third stanza, starting the period on an 11-2 run to make it a six-point deficit, 36-30, before Sewanee burned a timeout.

-The Tigers responded with back-to-back triples by Falvey and Lilly Phillips to put the lead back in double figures.

-Sewanee maintained composure throughout the second half, despite the Majors making it a one-point game, 58-57, with two minutes remaining. After a Millsaps timeout, Phillips essentially put the game away with her 70th 3-pointer of the year.

-The Majors did have an opportunity to tie the game in the final seconds, but for the Tigers, the clock hit triple zero before the visitors could get a shot off.
