HOW IT HAPPENED
-The first quarter was a game of runs. After the Tigers took an early 5-4 lead on an Olivia Falvey layup, the Petrels went on a 6-0 run in about a 90-second span.

-The Purple Tigers cut an 11-point deficit to one possession thanks to a 10-3 run. Sewanee saw Lilly Phillips knock down two shots from downtown and free throws from Shay Conn and Kayla Antoine helped as well.

-Leading 33-31 with 3:31 left in the half, the Stormy Petrels ended the period on a 6-0 run to take a 39-31 lead into the locker room.

-Unfortunately for the Tigers, the Petrels came out strong in the third quarter with an 8-of-20 mark from the field to lead 57-41 en route to the victory.
