HOW IT HAPPENED

-Sewanee held OU to four made field goals in its first 30 attempts, and it was the Tigers who had a 31-23 lead at the break.

-The Petrels made the lead eight, 56-48, thanks to Brent Smith free throws, with 10 minutes left in the contest. From there, the Tigers began to chip away. Outscoring the Petrels, 28-19, for the rest of the game, the Purple Tigers knocked down 13-of-15 from the charity stripe, including 11-of-11 from
Russ Marr in the final 4:10 of the contest.
-After Ryan Jenei went 1-of-2 from the free throw line with less than 20 seconds in the game and Oglethorpe up 75-73, Marr went to work. The sophomore drove the paint and not only got the driving layup to go, but he also caught the harm from Uba Ezigbo. Tied at 75, Marr sinked the game-winner at the free throw line.
