HOW IT HAPPENED
-Despite a Lilly Phillips triple to start the game, Berry went on an 8-0 run, capped by three free throws by Kenadie Lee.

-Sewanee showed strong defense for the majority of the opening quarter, cutting the deficit to 9-8 with two minutes remaining in the opening period, but a second chance opportunity and a turnover made it a 13-8 lead for the home-standing Vikings after 10 minutes.

-The Vikings got out to a nine-point lead, 23-14, with 3:19 left in the second period, but the Tigers scored the next four to trail 23-18 with less than three minutes in the half.

-A Phillips 3-pointer gave the visiting Tigers a three-point deficit, 26-23, with less than a minute remaining. Despite Berry going 1-of-2 from the charity stripe, the Tigers showed great defense and trailed 27-23 at the break.

-Thanks to a Sydney Blankenship triple, the Vikings made it an eight-point lead, 34-26, at the third quarter media timeout. However, Berry's offensive rebounding helped swell the lead back to its largest of nine points, 40-31, after 30 minutes.

-After back-to-back shots from downtown, the Purple and White made it a three-possession game, 51-42, with two minutes remaining in regulation.

-Berry essentially put the game away at the free throw line, as the home team scored 10 of its 18 points fro the charity stripe.
