Sewanee, Tenn: The University of the South Men's Soccer team continued their streak of having a player named SAA Player of the Week, as
Tyler Cozzie was named SAA Offensive Player of the Week after scoring two goals and adding an assist in a pair of wins, including a 3-0 win over Berry. Cozzie joins
Will Hawgood,
JP Furman, and
Zach Shunnarah in being named Player of the Week. Sewanee has had a player named each of the first four weeks.
Cozzie has come on fire as of late. He has scored four times in the last three games, including scoring the game winner in all three games. Cozzie now sits at second on the team in goals and points, with four goals and nine total points. Cozzie scored the first goal and assisted the second goal in a 3-0 win over Berry to open conference play. Cozzie also scored the first goal in a 5-0 win over Belhaven as well.
The Tigers are set to take on Covenant in a non conference match on Tuesday, September 27th at 7PM ET/ 6PM CT.
