Sewanee, Tenn: On Saturday, September 24th, the University of the South's Women's Soccer team opened up SAA play with a home match against Berry. A converted Berry penalty kick in the 53rd minute would be the difference, as the Vikings took home a 1-0 win.

- The first half went scoreless, as both teams would get good looks at the goal.
- Sewanee and Berry both took three shots in the first half.

- After a scoreless first half, Berry was awarded a penalty kick in the 53rd minutes. Karsen Brantley found the upper corner of the net to put the Vikings up 1-0.
