Sewanee, Tenn: On Monday, September 19th, the SAA announced their third week of Player of the Week awards, and Sewanee had a winner named for the third straight week, with Senior Defender
Zach Shunnarah earning Defensive Player of the Week honors. The Senior Captain from Birmingham, AL joins teammates
Will Hawgood and
JP Furman as Plyer of the Week award winners.
Shunnarah was defensive leader for the Tigers in a pair of 2-0 wins this week, the first coming against Emory, and the second against Belhaven. Shunnarah played all 180 minutes in both games for a defense that did not allow a goal.
Shunnarah and the Tigers are back in action Wednesday, September 21st at home at 5PM against Huntington.
