UP NEXT
With the regular season in the books, Sewanee will now turn its attention to the 2022 Southern Athletic Association (SAA) Tournament. New this year, instead of all teams flocking to one site, the tournament will be broken down into pods, similar to a regional-super regional format in the NCAA Tournament. The tournament will remain a double-elimination format, and the winners of each pod will advance to the championship series April 30 and May 1 at the highest remaining seed.
The top-two seeds in the tournament, Berry and Birmingham-Southern, respectively, will host the two pods starting next weekend. Full announcements of the bracket and schedules will be released once the league office announces the bracket.
