SEWANEE, Tenn. - The University of the South women's lacrosse team picked up its third straight win with a 14-5 rout of Wittenberg University, Wednesday night from Puett Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Sewanee netted five of the first six goals of the game to lead 5-1 after one quarter. After Wittenberg dented the scoreboard with 4:26 left in the opening period,
Hadley Meadows scored on back-to-back occasions to lead 5-1.
-The Tigers made it a 9-4 lead at the break. Leading 10-5 with 6:48 left in the third, the home-standing Tigers scored the last five goals of the game as they held the Ohio Tigers scoreless for the final 27:52 of the game.
DOMBROWSKI PICKS UP WIN NUMBER 150
-On Wednesday, head women's lacrosse coach
Michele Dombrowski secured her 150th career win at the University of the South. The program is 150-80 in 15-plus seasons.
-Now 158-101 all-time in 17 seasons as a collegiate women's lacrosse coach, Dombrowski picked up her 150th career win in 2021 against Transylvania.
