HOW IT HAPPENED
-After a quiet top of the first,
Eve Bournias dropped a two-out double to right center field to score
Jenna Speer to give Sewanee the 1-0 lead.
-Hendrix responded with two runs in the bottom half of the frame to secure its first lead, 2-1.
-The Tigers had a big opportunity to score in the top of the third inning. Three Tigers reached base via a free pass, but a double play ended the threat. The Warriors responded with back-to-back RBI hits to ultimately put it away.
SEWANEE KEY STATISTICS

Eve Bournias posted a 2-for-3 day at the plate with a double and an RBI.
-Perio Prestwood also recorded a double.
HENDRIX KEY STATISTICS
-Grace Bryant recorded a 2-for-4 day for the Warriors, while Kelsey Sample scored twice.
