MEMPHIS - The University of the South women's lacrosse team fell in a Southern Athletic Association (SAA) contest to the Lynx of Rhodes College, 20-6, Sunday afternoon from Mason Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-The home team scored the first three goals of the game in about a 1:40 span. However,
Brooke Sigmon gave the Purple Tigers their first goal of the game at the 10:26 mark of the opening quarter.
-Rhodes added two more goals to make it a 5-1 lead before
Lizzie Chamberlin scored on a man-up goal with 5:12 left in the period.
-However, the Lynx went on a 14-0 run in a 38-minute span to seal the contest.

Brooke Sigmon forced three turnovers and collected five ground balls.

-Payton Bennett posted four goals to lead the Lynx, while Chlor Parker tabbed three goals and an assist.
