ATLANTA - The Southern Athletic Association (SAA) announced on Wednesday afternoon that the University of the South swept the weekly SAA Men's Tennis Player of the Week awards.
Liam Selvido secured the Singles Player of the Week, while
Peyton Erck and
Noah Holsclaw received Doubles Team of the Week honors.

In his first dual match of the spring, the freshman took down Ashton Whitt of Centre at the No. 4 flight in a very competitive match, 6-7 (4), 6-4, 10-7.

The duo went 1-1 this past weekend in matches against Centre and Denison as they played together for the first time this year.
Against Centre's Matthew Bulow/Danny Nelson, they won the point, 8-3. Later against Andy Mackler/Colin Gramley of Denison, the team fell, 8-6. Both points were at the No. 2 position.
Following an exhibition with Wallace State (Ala.) on Sunday, the Tigers will head out west for their annual California trip, beginning with a neutral contest with Swarthmore (Pa.) on March 11.
