BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The University of the South swimming and diving teams posted three medals on Friday at the 2022 Southern Athletic Association (SAA) Swimming & Diving Championships at the Birmingham CrossPlex.

TOP FEMALE PERFORMERS
-In the 200 free relay, the quartet of
Kate Mabry,
Morgan Howat,
Anna Hawkins Dulaney and
Mary Louise LeMieux posted a 1:38.91 to earn a new school record, last held in 2005 (1:38.92).

Olivia Durfee won the one-meter diving with a 388.45 score, followed by
Mary Butler with a 380.75 result.

Mary Louise LeMieux took second place at the 500 freestyle final, clocking in at 5:10.33.

Kate Mabry recorded a 2:14.29 performance in the 200 IM final.

Sarah Mehany posted a 5:34.99 mark in the B-Cut final of the 500 free.
Anna Hawkins Dulaney posted a 24.95-second sprint in the 50-free B-Cut final, while
Morgan Howat posted 25.48 seconds.
TOP MALE PERFORMERS

Anthony Carbone touched the wall at 1:59.88 mark in the 200 IM.

George Mabry posted a 21.54-second sprint in the 50 freestyle A-Cut final.

George Mabry posted a sixth place finish of 1:27.62 in the 200 free relay.
UP NEXT
Day four of the championships will begin on Saturday morning at 10 a.m. with the finals of Friday night's preliminary events. Saturday's preliminary events will start at 6 p.m., following the Senior Ceremony.
