HOW IT HAPPENED
-After Sewanee was forced to punt on its first possession, Rhodes posted a 12-play drive that chewed up seven minutes of the clock to put the home team on the board first.

-On the Tigers' next possession, Michael McGhee found daylight on the left side of the field for 67 yards to flip the field to the red zone. On a fourth and goal, McGhee punched the ball in one yard out for the score to make it 7-6.

-Rhodes took advantage of a Sewanee mistake in the second quarter on a fumble. The Lynx picked up the loose ball in the end zone for the score.

-Sewanee's final two drives of the half were stalled on offense, but the defense kept the game a one-score deficit. Late in the half, a 36-yard field goal by Wiley Henshaw was no good to keep the score 14-6.

-After each team traded possessions to start the second half, the Lynx added a safety with 8:52 left in the period after a mistake by Sewanee.

-The Lynx added a 37-yard field goal by Henshaw with 3:05 left in the third to make it a 19-6 score.

-Rhodes essentially put the game away with two touchdowns in the fourth quarter.
