HOW IT HAPPENED
-A first set that went back-and-forth, Rhodes, trailing 17-16, put together a 7-1 run, including winning five straight points on four kills and an ace, to lead, 22-18.

-Sewanee responded in a big way, winning seven of the final eight points to take the opening set. Laurel Burkhardt recorded back-to-back kills for Sewanee to clinch the set.

-Rhodes, however, would make it interesting. After the Tigers secured set point, 24-16, the Lynx won seven straight points, including four kills by Gabrielle White, to make it 24-23. The eighth set point was the charm for the Purple and White, as an Olivia Jones spike gave the Tigers the 2-0 advantage.

-The third set was all Sewanee, as they used 18 kills and a .405 swing percentage (18-3-37) to complete the sweep, 25-21. Rhodes hung tough, as they posted a .268 attack mark (14-3-41).
