SEWANEE, Tenn. - The University of the South football team continues the road swing on Saturday afternoon against Hendrix College in a Southern Athletic Association (SAA) contest.

All-Time Series: Hendrix leads, 7-3 (11th Meeting)
A LOOK AT THE WARRIORS: After shutting out Austin College to open the 2022 season, Hendrix has lost its last four games, being outscored 181-42. 28 of those 42 points came last week in a road defeat at Millsaps.
The Warriors, despite being out-gained, 431-331, did run the ball better than the Majors, 127-73. Trailing 34-14 in the fourth quarter, Hendrix had back-to-back scores late, but they came up short.
Jacob Wood recorded 945 yards through the air on four touchdowns and a 56.2% (77-of-137).
Tajae White, who is fifth in the conference in receiving yards, leads the team with 316.
On the ground, Auvic White leads the team with 142 yards and four scores.
Pacing the Warriors on defense is Nathan Hahn with 22 total tackles, while Jaden Davis has the lone interception for the Warriors in 2022.
Buck Buchanan enters his tenth season at the helm of the Warriors program, and he is two wins away from achieving 50 in his career (48-42).
NUMBER 300: Saturday marks the 300th conference game between Sewanee's three Division III conferences: the College Athletic Conference (CAC), the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) and the Southern Athletic Association (SAA).
Sewanee played in the CAC in 1962 to 1990, the SCAC from 1991 to 2011 and the SAA since 2012. During the stretch, the Tigers have won 12 conference championships between the three leagues and seven players were four-time All-Conference selections.
HITTING THE DOUBLE DIGITS: Restarting football in 2013, Hendrix and Sewanee will meet for the 10th time since the restart. Hendrix has had the upper hand, winning seven of the last nine meetings, including both contests last season.
Hendrix and Sewanee met twice last seaon, once in a non-conference after their respective Week 1 opponents were called off, and at the end of the season in the conference showdown.
Overall, this will be the 11th meeting between the two schools, as these two tangoed on Nov. 2, 1946 in Conway. The Tigers shut out the Warriors, 25-0 on that day.
YOUR FIRST INTERCEPTION IS A PICK SIX: Kaleb Seay secured his first career interception last week against Centre, and it was returned 23 yards for a fourth quarter touchdown.
As a team, Sewanee has had four different players record an interception so far this season.
SAMUEL EYEING 500: Dagem Samuel is approaching a milestone on Saturday. The junior needs 17 more yards for 500 on the receiving end.
After putting up 109 yards in 2020-21, Samuel caught 221 yards on 15 receptions last season.
