HOW IT HAPPENED
-Similar to Saturday, Sewanee came out swinging in the circle, taking four shots in about a minute's span, all saved by the Allegheny keeper, Hallie Reiger.

-In the sixth minute, on the Gators' first shot attempt of the day, Ramsay Smith found the back of the cage for the early 1-0 lead.

-Almost two minutes, the contest was square again, as Moira Darling struck for her first goal of the year to make the score 1-1.

-Allegheny reclaimed the lead for good in the second period off a penalty corner. After a shot attempt was saved by Barbara Canty, the rebound went to Ella O'Connor and the ball landed in the back of the cage.

-The Gators added an insurance goal in the 51st minute to make it 3-1, but Molly Wheeler's first goal of the year cut the score to 3-2 in the 53rd minute. After Darling took the corner, Mimi Wilson found Wheeler's stick for the goal.

-Unfortunately, the Gators put the game out of reach with their fourth goal of the game 16 seconds later.
