MONTGOMERY, Ala. - The University of the South men's soccer team used two early first half goals to drop Huntingdon College in a midweek battle, 3-1, Tuesday evening from the Samford Soccer Complex.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-10 minutes into the match, off a
Severin Velasco corner kick,
David Edge found the pass and netted his second goal of the year.
-Almost seven minutes later, Edge was on the prowl again, as he made a pass to
Evan Poole for his second goal of the season to give Sewanee the 2-0 advantage.
-Despite the Hawks breaking up the shutout in the 58th minute, the Tigers had the last laugh. In the 76th minute, Velasco passed to freshman
Tyler Cozzie for his second goal of the year.

-The Purple and White took 13 shots on the night, led by
Severin Velasco's three shots. He did notch two assists on Sewanee's three goals.
