CHATTANOOGA - The University of the South women's soccer team recorded an 83rd minute goal to push past the Scots of Covenant College, 1-0, Wednesday night from David Stanton Field on the campus of Chattanooga Christian School.
Due to the remnants of Hurricane Ida, the match was moved from Scotland Yard in Lookout Mountain, Ga. down the mountain at CCS.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Sewanee was dominant in the early going. After Covenant's lone shot in the 10th minute, the Tigers out-shot the Scots, 11-0.
-Sewanee was in the box taking shots in the 83rd minute.
Olivia Rhodes had one that was saved by the Covenant keeper.
Olivia Fee followed with a wide shot 20 seconds later. Over 35 seconds later, Rhodes struck again for the eventual go-ahead goal.

Greg Cathell, Sewanee's 11th coach in the history of the women's soccer program, secured his 50th career win between Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (N.Y.), Centenary (La.) and Sewanee. Entering his second season with the Purple and White, his overall career mark is 50-33-11.
