SEWANEE, Tenn. - Our weekly coaches show at the University of the South, entitled Coffee With The Coach, returns to The Blue Chair Tavern and Facebook Live on Monday, Sept. 6.
Coffee With The Coach gives the coaching staff of our varsity sports at the University of the South the opportunity to share with members of the Sewanee community about the current status of their program at the University of the South.
The Advent Semester Schedule will begin with a joint session with Head Football Coach
Travis Rundle and Director of Athletics
Mark Webb at on Sept. 6 from The Blue Chair Tavern in downtown Sewanee.
All episodes will air Monday mornings at 9 a.m., with the exception of the Vice-Chancellor, which will start a half-hour earlier at 8:30 a.m.
Dan Hatfield will continue to host the weekly show, as this will be the eighth year that the community has led this event.
We will be welcoming back fans into the Tavern for free coffee and conversation. Masking will be optional for patrons, but all employees at The Blue Chair Tavern will be masked, per company policy.
Once again, we will continue to live stream the event on our Facebook page. Last season, in 22 episodes, there was an average of 400 viewers per episode. This will be the fifth season the event has been live-streamed.
Fans will still be able to submit questions on all of our social media accounts to submit question in advance on Sunday, and there will be an opportunity to submit questions during the live show as well.
For those who are unable to make it live, the content will be accessible on-demand on our Facebook page. Additionally, it will also be available on our website, sewaneetigers.com, and on the University of the South's YouTube Channel by midday on Mondays.
