LAGRANGE, Ga. - The University of the South men's basketball team limited Huntingdon College to 45 percent from the floor and 23 points in the second half, but the Tigers ultimately fall short on Friday night, 70-61, from Mariotti Gymnasium on the campus of LaGrange College as a part of the Wingate by Wyndham Classic.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Huntingdon was able to push its lead to 21 points in the first half, 37-16, with four and a half minutes left in the half. Sewanee did cut the deficit some, but they had an uphill climb down 18, 47-29, at the break.
-The Tigers were able to cut the deficit to single digits thanks to a 3-pointer by
Russ Marr at the under-four media timeout, but the Hawks prevailed throughout to secure the win.

Colin Kahl led the Tigers with 16 points on 8-of-12 shooting, while
Russ Marr tallied 12 points.

Luka Avaliani added nine points and four dimes, and
Blake Bouldin posted nine points and seven boards.

-Damien Madison led the Hawks with 20 points and added three boards and assists each.
