SPARTANBURG, S.C. - The University of the South field hockey wrapped up the road portion of its regular season schedule with a 9-2 defeat at Converse College, an NCAA Division II institution, Sunday afternoon from Fulp Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-The teams traded goals in the opening period. Catalina Pistaccio netted the first mark of the contest 54 seconds in. However,
Moira Darling followed with a goal of her own three minutes later.
-After the first 15 minutes, it was all Converse. The hosts struck for three goals in the second quarter and four in the third.

Caroline Pulliam struck in the 54th minute off a penalty corner for Sewanee's second goal of the game.
