ROME, Ga. - The University of the South football program was taken down by Berry College in a Southern Athletic Association (SAA) contest, 59-0, Saturday afternoon from Valhalla Stadium.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-After Berry was forced to punt on its first two possessions, the Vikings found the endzone on the next two, scoring on a three-play, 35-yard drive to lead 7-0. After an interception to give the home team the ball back, Berry punched it in late in the first stanza to take a 14-0 advantage.
-The Vikings added 10 points in the second quarter, capped by a 70-yard score with 17 seconds remaining in the half to lead 24-0 at the intermission.
-Berry tacked on 14 points in the third and 21 in the fourth to seal the contest over Sewanee.
SEWANEE KEY STATISTICS

Cyrus Wilson caught 65 yards through the air, while
Michael McGhee led the running game with 61.
Tucker Kirk also added 41 rushing yards.

Keegan Glaze posted nine tackles, 2.5 for a loss for nine yards.
Kason Holder also added seven stops and a loss behind the line of scrimmage.
BERRY KEY STATISTICS
-Gavin Gray went 18-of-26 for 183 yards and two scores, while TJ Watkins caught 76.
-Josh Rogers recorded 102 yards on the ground with three touchdowns.
-Connor Cheyunski made nine tackles to lead Berry.
