HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Tigers struggled in doubles play, falling two of three points to the hosts. Liam Baer and Alejandro Becker avoided the sweep with an 8-4 win at the No. 2 point.
-In singles, UMW won three of the first four points to clinch the match. No. 37 Jordan Brewer (7-5, 6-1) and No. 34 Andres Carro (6-4, 6-4) won their respective points.
-Noah Holsclaw at the No. 6 flight battled back to win the point over Priyan De Silva. After losing the first set via a tiebreak, 6-7 (4-7), the freshman rallied to win the point with set scores of 6-3 and 10-7.
