Box Score SEWANEE, Tenn. - The Sewanee women's soccer team out-shot the Panthers of Hanover, but the deciding factor came on a penalty kick goal by the visitors, as they defeat the Tigers, 1-0, Sunday afternoon from Puett Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Early in the match, Hanover had three shots in the first 10 minutes. Despite the Panthers gaining opportunities for corner kicks, Hanna Judycki saved two of the three shots.
-In the 25th minute, after a Sewanee foul in the box, Brandi Brock scored the lone goal of the match via the penalty kick.
-The Tigers out-shot the visitors, 16-14, for the match including 10-6 in the second half. Five of Sewanee's 10 shots in the final 45 minutes were on-target and saved by the Hanover keep.
SEWANEE KEY STATISTICS
-Kiera Giacomini had three shots, all on goal, to lead the Sewanee offense.
-Addie Roemershauser also had three shots, all off-target, while Caitlin Fahr posted two shots on goal.
-Hanna Judycki (0-2-1) saved five shots in 45 minutes.
HANOVER KEY STATISTICS
-Brandi Brock led all attackers with four shots on goal, including the penalty kick goal in the 25th minute.
-Autumn Boothby had three total shots, two on goal.
-Amanda Carmosino saved eight shots in full time.

The Tigers will next hit the road for the next three matches. Sewanee will travel to Emory & Henry (Va.) Friday night before wrapping up the weekend with Washington & Lee (Va.) on Sunday.
