Box Score CONWAY, Ark. - The Sewanee volleyball team opened a four-game road swing on Saturday in a Southern Athletic Association (SAA) tilt with the Warriors of Hendrix College, falling in straight sets from Garrison Court.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Tigers struggled in the opening two sets, breaking even on attack percentage. Hendrix, who took the opening set, 25-19, had a .244 attack percentage (16-6-41) and out-attacked teh visitors, 16-6.
-Sewanee played more competitively in the second set, but with 12 attack errors, the Warriors took the set, 25-22, despite the Tigers getting within one point, 22-21 on a kill by Destiny Stewart.
-The Tigers had to rally in the third set from two deep deficits. Trailing 20-13, Sewanee scored three of the next four points to cut the shortfall to four points, 21-16.
-Securing match point, the Warriors had to battle five points by the Sewanee offense to even the score at 24 thanks to four attack errors and an ace.
-After Sewanee tied the match again at 25, the Warriors secured the match on a Maddie Tovar kill and a Sewanee attack error.
SEWANEE KEY STATISTICS
-Sydney White had eight kills to lead Sewanee and she added 13 digs.
-Destiny Stewarts had 13 digs on the day, while Constance Connolly had 21 assists and four aces.
HENDRIX KEY STATISTICS
-Lauren Dwyer and Maddie Tovar each had 10 kills and 13 digs for Hendrix.
-For the match, the home team posted a .206 attack percentage (45-19-126).
