Box Score HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - The Sewanee women's soccer team were defeated by the University of Alabama in Huntsville, an NCAA Division II institution, 5-3, Wednesday evening from Charger Park.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Chargers struck early and often in the match, scoring three goals in almost a three-minute span from the 10th to 12th minutes.
-In the 23rd minute, Melanie Brannon scored her second goal of the match and pushed the UAH lead to 4-0.
-In the second half, Sewanee outscored the home team 3-1 thanks to two goals by Addie Roemershauser (50', 73') and Isabel Washko (77').
-Roemershauser now has four goals on the season, while Washko netted her third of the season on Wednesday.
-For the match, each team took 16 shots each, with Sewanee had the advantage in the second half, 10-6.
SEWANEE KEY STATISTICS
-Abbie Kleckley led Sewanee with four total shots, two on goal. However, she earned a point thanks to an assist off of Sewanee's second goal in the 73rd minute.
-Chloe Thompson, Addie Roemershauser and Bea Richardson each had two shots on goal.

-Melanie Brannon had three shots on goal and finished with five points on two goals and an assist.
-Adriana Wright saved four shots in the first half.
