HOW IT HAPPENED
-DePauw didn't waste time to score the first goal of the 2019 season, as Kate Milner found a pass from Cathy Zesiger in the fifth minute.

-The teams played close, but it was the Indiana Tigers who led 1-0 after one quarter of play.

-Late in the first half, DePauw had an opportunity to take a 2-0 lead into the locker room off a penalty corner, but the Sewanee defense pushed the ball out of the circle and pushed possession to the front-end of the field.

-After Sewanee attempted a shot and took a corner, Milly Etheridge found a path in the circle and attempted a shot, but on the rebound, Ceara Caffrey found the back of the cage to even the score at one goal apiece in the minute.

-With less than a minute remaining, DePauw tried to reclaim the lead, but Eliza Griffin posted a defensive save to keep the contest even at one goal at the break.

-DePauw scored 52 seconds into the second half to take a 2-1 lead. Off a Kate Milner corner, Maddie DeAscentis passed to Cathy Zesiger for the score.

-Nearly 2:30 later, Buckley Norman passed the ball to Caffrey in the circle and recorded the equalizer again at the 34th minute.

-However, it did not last long, as Milner gave DePauw the lead for good with an unassisted goal in the 35th minute.

-The fourth quarter showed strong defense by both teams, as each team took just one shot.

-In the 57th minute, less than three minutes to go, Sewanee had an opportunity to even the score with a man-up opportunity, but the lone shot of the period, taken by Caffrey, was saved by the DePauw goalkeeper.
