HOW IT HAPPENED - GAME 1
-Hendrix sprinted out to an 8-0 lead thanks to a five-run fourth inning.
-Sewanee tacked on two runs in the fifth. Miranda Townsend broke the shutout with a base hit to right center field.
-The Tigers added a second run later in the frame thanks to a Rowan Jordan RBI groundout.
-The Warriors responded with two runs in the bottom half of the inning to secure the 10-2, run-rule victory.
HOW IT HAPPENED - GAME 2
-The Warriors scored in each inning in the second game of the twinbill, leading 7-0 after two innings and 10-0 after three.
SEWANEE KEY STATISTICS
-Peri Prestwood, Charlsey Shirey, Katie Roth and Miranda Townsend each recorded a hit for Sewanee.
-Shirey and Roth scored runs for Sewanee, while Townsend and Rowan Jordan scored an RBI each.
HENDRIX KEY STATISTICS
-Emily Stockalper posted five hits on the doubleheader and scored six runs and drove in six.
