HOW IT HAPPENED - GAME 1
-Covenant scored a run in the first and a run in the third, all unearned runs off of Kendell Goodrum.
-In the fifth, the Tigers, who had not seen a batter reach base through four innings, broke that streak with back-to-back homers by Rachel Hoffman and Peri Prestwood to cut the lead to 3-2 after five innings.
-The Scots added two runs in the sixth to seal the contest.
HOW IT HAPPENED - GAME 2
-Covenant scored 11 times in the first inning as the team sent 17 batters to the plate.
SEWANEE KEY STATISTICS
-Rachel Hoffman and Peri Prestwood each went yard for Sewanee.
-Kendell Goodrum (0-4) allowed two earned runs in seven innings.
COVENANT KEY STATISTICS
-Cope Whitaker recorded two multi-hit games with two hits each.
