Box Score LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, Ga. - The Sewanee volleyball team opened a three-game road swing on Wednesday night at Covenant College. The Tigers took down the Scots in straight sets from the Barnes Physical Education Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Sewanee started the match with an 8-3 run before the hosts made it a two-point affair, 8-6.
-At one point, the Tigers had an 18-11 advantage before the Scots made it a 24-22 deficit thanks to an 11-6 run.
-On the fourth set point, Sewanee secured the match on a Macy Gardella kill.
-The visitors used that to their advantage in the second set, winning the first five points and 10 of the first 12. The Tigers used a strong defense, allowing the Scots to a -.085 attack percentage (5-9-47), winning the set, 25-13.
-In the third, the Scots made it interesting. Despite the Tigers winning four of the first five points, the Scots rallied to take a quick 5-4 lead thanks to four straight points and two kills by Sara Delk.
-After each team traded points for most of the set, the Tigers pulled away to secure the match. Tied at 18, Sewanee finished the contest on an 8-3 run.
SEWANEE KEY STATISTICS
-Destiny Stewart recorded her third double-double in a row and her 14th of 2019 with 13 digs and 10 kills.
-Sydney White tallied 14 digs, while Anna Ball, Lilly Reilly and Constance Connolly each totaled 10 digs each.
-Ellie Pedersen posted three block assists and six kills.
COVENANT KEY STATISTICS
-Emily Moore tabulated 21 digs, while Meriiel Chupp led the Scots with four kills.

Sewanee will conclude the regular season with a tri-match at Emory & Henry on Sunday. Sewanee will face the Wasps of E&H and the Tigers of Salem University.
