Box Score SEWANEE, Tenn. - The Sewanee volleyball team collected a four-set victory over Rhodes College in a Southern Athletic Association (SAA) contest Saturday afternoon inside Juhan Gymnasium.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Tigers sprinted out to a 13-3 lead in the opening set before cruising to a 25-16 win.
-In the second set, after each team played close, the Tigers, leading 15-14, went on an 8-1 run to lead 23-15. Sewanee claimed the second set victory, 25-18.
-Rhodes started the third set with a 5-1 advantage before getting out to a 13-9 lead. Sewanee responded with winning the next seven points to claim the lead, 16-13.
-Trailing 18-15, Rhodes would close out the set thanks to an 8-1 run. Despite Sewanee coming back to trail 24-23, Kathryn Chambers ended the set with a kill.
-The fourth set was all about runs. After Sewanee started the set with the first five points, Rhodes responded with five points of their own.
-Tied at five points each, Sewanee went on a 7-0 run to lead 12-5, and that would be the deciding factor as the Tigers took the set and match with a 25-18 set win.
SEWANEE KEY STATISTICS
-Lilly Reilly and Macy Gardella each posted 13 kills each. Gardella had a .417 attack percentage (13-3-24).
-Olivia Nichols had 10 kills, while Destiny Stewart posted 12 digs.
-Constance Connolly had 37 assists and 15 digs.
RHODES KEY STATISTICS
-Annie Entz finished with 10 kills to lead the Lynx, while Marissa Hall led all players with 18 digs.
