Box Score SEWANEE, Tenn. - The Sewanee men's soccer team saw a 78th minute goal by Brendan Mann to break a 1-1 tie, as the Tigers down the Lynx in a Southern Athletic Association (SAA) match Friday night at Puett Field, 2-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Sewanee came out striking early in the contest, and in the 14th minute, off a corner kick by Alpo Sipilä, Thompson Schollaert netted his third goal of the season.
-The Tigers took a 1-0 lead into the locker room, but 48 seconds into the second half, that all changed as Jack Lippe found Ben Tang's assist and, with a little help from the crossbar, evened the match at one goal apiece.
-In the 78th minute, after Rhodes was stopped for a foul, the Tigers found their way back down the field, and in the box, Evan Poole crossed to Brendan Mann for the game-winning goal and his first in 2019.
-Rhodes had a shot attempt in the 80th minute that James Murray saved, and it was the last shot the visitors would be able to take.
SEWANEE KEY STATISTICS
-Thompson Schollaert had two total shots to lead Sewanee as eight different players had a shot on the evening.
-James Murray (7-3-1) saved two shots on the match.
RHODES KEY STATISTICS
-Three of Rhodes' four shots were on-target on Friday night. Jack Lippe, Travis Tuerff and Sam Khomtchenko were the players with the shot on goal.
-Nathan Meglic (1-4-0) saved two shots in full time.
