Box Score DANVILLE, Ky. - The Sewanee volleyball team took down Centre on the road Thursday with a four-set victory over the Colonels, 3-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Tigers cruised to a .267 attack percentage (10-2-30) in the opening set, as the visitors won the set, 25-15.
-Sewanee held off Centre in the second set, despite having a 23-15 lead. The Colonels scored six of the last seven points to make it 24-21 in favor of the Tigers. However, Aliyah McCane secured the set with a kill.
-The third set went the way of the home team thanks to 15 kills on four errors to Sewanee's eight kills on seven errors. Centre took the set, 25-17.
-Sewanee bounced back in the fourth set, 25-22, to win the match thanks to 15 kills.
CONFERENCE HISTORY
-The Tigers have won seven conference matches, the most in the SAA-era (since 2012). Sewanee won six in its first season in the conference en route to a 6-8 mark. With one more win in their final two matches, the team will secure a better than .500 conference record for the first time since 1997.
SEWANEE KEY STATISTICS
-Lilly Reilly recorded a double-double with 12 digs and 10 kills. She finished with 12 points thanks to two service aces.
-Destiny Stewart led Sewanee with 17 digs and added five kills and three total blocks.
-Peyton Parent recorded 15 digs, while Constance Connolly assisted on 38 attacks.
CENTRE KEY STATISTICS
-Perrin Long led all attackers with 11 kills, while Savanna Roper notched 10.
-Peyton Vacala recorded 34 digs, while Kylie Cochran assisted on 32 of the team's 40 kills.
