Men's Soccer Falls on Heartbreaker

DEMOREST, Ga. - The Sewanee men's soccer team could not respond late after an 88th minute goal by Piedmont, as the Lions held off the Tigers, 1-0, Wednesday evening at the Walker Athletic Complex. 

The Lions were able to break the shutout in the 88th minute, when Chase Kane netted the game-winner from a Brandon Ramos assist.

Piedmont (3-1) only allowed Sewanee (3-4) to six total shots in the match.

The Tigers return home to Puett Field to take on Berry to open Southern Athletic Association play on Saturday. Kickoff is scheduled for noon.
