Softball falls at Covenant

LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, Ga. (March 15, 2016) – The Sewanee softball team dropped a pair of games at regional-rival Covenant, Tuesday.

The Tigers lost the opener 15-1 and then dropped game two of the doubleheader 15-2.

Overall, Sewanee had four hits in the opener while Sara Burklin led the way with an RBI.

In the second game, Sewanee again had four hits while both Rachel Hoffman and Mackenzie Hobbs both drove in runs by Caroline Holmes and Charlsey Shirey.

Sewanee quickly returns to action on Wednesday at Trinity (D.C.).
