Box Score SEWANEE, Tenn. (Oct. 4, 2016) – An early goal by Matt Hawse helped the Sewanee men's soccer team to a 1-1 double overtime draw against regional-rival Covenant, Tuesday, at Puett Field.
The Tigers quickly scored as Ryan McDonald served a great deep pass into the box where Hawse timed his jump perfectly to head home the first goal with just 1:11 off the clock.

Individually, Merriman closed the evening with eight saves while Max Hawes and Reid Turner both led the attack with four shots.
