Box Score CONWAY, Ark. (Sept. 20, 2015) – Southern Athletic Association (SAA) foe Hendrix earned a 3-0 victory over the Sewanee volleyball team, Sunday, inside Grove Gymnasium.
The Tigers fall to 8-4 overall and 1-2 in SAA action. The host Warriors are now 9-6 overall and are a perfect 3-0 in SAA play.
Hendrix won the match by taking the sets at 25-15, 25-13, and 25-23. The Warriors were led by a .269 attack percentage.
Individually, Sewanee was led by Walker Buxton, who finished with nine kills and 11 assists. No other Tiger finished above four kills. Peyton Parent (13) and Diamond Stewart (10) both finished with double-digit digs.
Mc Rogers led Hendrix with match-high 12 kills while Felicia Beeman added 20 digs.
Sewanee continues SAA play with a 10:30 a.m. match against Oglethorpe inside Juhan Gymnasium Saturday.
