BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (April 12, 2015) – Southern Athletic Association (SAA) rival Birmingham-Southern swept a four-game series over the Sewanee softball team, Sunday, at BSC Softball Park.

The home Panthers opened with a 11-0 win and then took the final contest, 9-0.

The Panthers continued to roll in the nightcap as Sewanee managed just two hits. Courtney Saunders and Caroline Holmes both reached. In fact, Saunders ripped a triple.

Micaela Beck led BSC with three hits and four RBI.
