Moore lifts Berry past Sewanee

Box Score

SEWANEE, Tenn. (Oct. 23, 2015) – Two second-half goals by Steven Moore lifted Southern Athletic Association (SAA) rival Berry to a 2-0 win over the Sewanee men's soccer team, Friday, at Puett Field.

Moore netted goals in the 63rd and 86th minutes. The first score was off an assist from Christian Roberts.

Overall, the Vikings outshot the Tigers 14-12. With that, the majority of Berry's attempts were off-goal as Sewanee keeper Will Merriman faced only three shots.

Senior Chris Haberstroth and Max Hawes led the attack with three attempts each. Additionally, Matt Hawse and Marco Randazzo finished with two shots.

Sewanee will now await who they will play in the SAA quarterfinals, October 31st.
