Softball season ends with losses against BSC and Centre

CONWAY, Ark. (April 25, 2014) – Southern Athletic Association (SAA) rival Birmingham-Southern opened the SAA Softball Tournament with a 15-1 win over Sewanee, Friday, at Warrior Field.

BSC lead 5-0 heading into the top of the third when the flood gates opened. The Panthers scored 10 runs in the inning to take control.

Sewanee would plate a single run in the top of the fifth. After shortstop Gabby Sanders reached with a hit, she would eventually score on a BSC error.

Sewanee then dropped a 12-0 decision to end its season against Centre.
