Box Score 2 SEWANEE, Tenn. (April 19, 2014) – The Sewanee softball team closed out its regular season with a pair of losses against Southern Athletic Association (SAA) foe Millsaps, Saturday, at Tiger Field.
The Majors won game three 17-2 and then completed the sweep with a 12-0 victory in the fourth game.
Like she did Friday, outfielder Sarah Fleming led the Tigers at the plate. Fleming finished 2-for-3 with one run scored while second baseman Courtney Saunders added a hit and an RBI. Finally, Gabby Sanders added a hit and run scored.
In the second game Millsaps limited Sewanee to just one hit. Kate Heil was the lone Tiger to reach base with a hit in the bottom of the fourth.
Sewanee will open the SAA Tournament as the No. 7 seed next weekend in Conway, Ark.
