Box Score 2 SEWANEE, Tenn. (March 30, 2014) – Southern Athletic Association (SAA) member Hendrix defeated the Sewanee softball team twice, Sunday.
The Warriors defeated the Tigers 6-1 in the opener and then again by a score of 19-0 in the second game.
Sewanee was led at the plate by Courtney Saunders and Michelle Thibodeaux. Saunders finished with two hits while Thibodeaux drove in the Tigers' lone RBI.
Hendrix pounded out 23 hits on the day and finished and five doubles.
Sewanee continues SAA play with a noon doubleheader on Saturday, April 5 against Birmingham-Southern.
